Tokyo Lounge is committed to respecting and protecting the intellectual property rights of all individuals and entities. We strictly prohibit the unauthorized use, reproduction, distribution, or display of copyrighted material, trademarks, or other intellectual property on our platform. This includes, but is not limited to, videos, images, audio, text, and other content uploaded or shared by users.
Compliance with Applicable Laws
Tokyo Lounge complies with all applicable intellectual property laws, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) in the United States and equivalent international regulations. We take prompt action to address any reported or detected infringements of intellectual property rights.
Procedures for Reporting Infringement
If you believe that your intellectual property rights have been infringed upon by content hosted on Tokyo Lounge, you may submit a formal notice of infringement to our designated agent. The notice must include the following information to be considered valid:
Identification of the Infringed Work: A description of the copyrighted work, trademark, or other intellectual property that you claim has been infringed.
Identification of the Infringing Material: A specific description of the material on Tokyo Lounge that you believe infringes your rights, including the URL or other identifying information to locate the content.
Contact Information: Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
Statement of Good Faith: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in question is not authorized by the intellectual property owner, its agent, or the law.
Statement of Accuracy: A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the intellectual property owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the intellectual property owner.

Action on Infringement Notices
Upon receipt of a valid infringement notice, Tokyo Lounge will:
Remove or Disable Access: Promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content.
Notify the User: Inform the user who uploaded the content of the removal and the reason for it.
Counter-Notice Process: Allow the user to submit a counter-notice if they believe the content was removed in error. A valid counter-notice must include:
-Identification of the removed content and its location on the platform before removal.
-A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the user has a good faith belief that the content was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
-The user’s name, address, and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in Croydon Magistrates’Court.
-A physical or electronic signature.
Restoration of Content: If a valid counter-notice is received and no further legal action is taken by the complainant within 10-14 business days, Tokyo Lounge may restore the content at its discretion.
Repeat Infringer Policy
Tokyo Lounge maintains a repeat infringer policy in accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws. Users who repeatedly infringe intellectual property rights may have their accounts suspended or terminated, at the sole discretion of Tokyo Lounge.
Consequences of False Claims
Submitting a false or misleading notice or counter-notice may result in legal liability. Tokyo Lounge reserves the right to take appropriate action, including account suspension or termination, against users who knowingly submit false claims.
Monitoring and Enforcement
Tokyo Lounge employs manual processes to detect and address potential intellectual property infringements. However, we rely on rights holders to notify us of specific infringements, as we cannot actively monitor all content uploaded to the platform.
